Parade of Homes is always a highlight in Southwest Florida. It’s a chance to walk through beautifully designed homes, gather ideas, and see what thoughtful design really looks like in person. This year, it also brought something worth celebrating. The Medallion Home Parade of Homes awards included five honors at the Suncoast BIA gala, recognizing residences across several communities and home types. It was a meaningful moment for the team and a reflection of the care that goes into each Medallion home.

A closer look at the award-winning homes
Each of the winning Medallion homes reflects a different way of living, which makes this group especially exciting.
Captiva 2 at Watercolor Place
This multi-family award winner shows how comfortable and well-designed a smaller footprint can feel. The layout is open and easy, with a natural flow between the kitchen, dining, and great room. The Captiva 2 is the kind of home that feels simple in the best way: no space wasted, everything in the right place.
Belize at River Preserve Estates
Recognized in a single-family category, the Belize offers more space while still feeling welcoming. The main living areas connect seamlessly, making it easy to move between rooms whether you’re hosting or just going about your day. The owner’s suite adds a quieter retreat, giving the home a nice balance between open and private spaces.
St. Thomas at The Willows
This award-winning plan leans a bit more streamlined, but that’s exactly where it shines. With a smart layout, flexible spaces like a den or office, and an inviting lanai, the St. Thomas is designed to feel both practical and comfortable. It’s easy to picture everyday life here without anything feeling overcomplicated.
Exuma at Legends Bay
Taking home two awards for Best Overall Custom Home, the Exuma is a standout for a different reason. This is a larger, fully custom home where every detail is elevated, from the expansive layout to the indoor-outdoor living spaces overlooking Sarasota Bay. It’s designed to make an impression, but still feels livable and intentional throughout.

What the Parade of Homes awards reflect
Awards are exciting, of course. But what matters more is what they represent. The Medallion Home Parade of Homes awards we brought home weren’t focused on just one type of home. They honored a range of floor plans, from low-maintenance living to fully custom designs. That variety speaks to something important: good design isn’t one-size-fits-all.

More to celebrate: merit award recognitions
In addition to the top honors, we’re excited to announce that several Medallion homes also received merit awards recognizing standout design details within the residences themselves:
- Grand Cayman - Best Kitchen with Built-In Nook
- Captiva 2 - Best Kitchen
- Bermuda - Best Accent Wall with Fireplace
- Sea Grape 2 - Best Kitchen
- Exuma - Best Office with a View
- Silver Palm - Best Courtyard and Spool
- Belize - Best Outdoor Space
